  • May kings have ruled within the city of Anuradhapura and numerous temples and monasteries have been built there .

  • The most sacred and historical tree of the world 'Sri Maha Bodhiya' is situated  in the sacred city of Anuradhapura . 
  • There are many ruin cities in our country . the most important is that of Anuradhapura . 
  • The area of land demarcated as the sacred city of Anuradhapura is full of ancient ruins. 
  •   On the whole , the sacred city of Anuradhapura of could  be described as a museum of ancient art and culture .

The history of a country is very important . my fauvarite subject is history . I dont know why . Theare many things we can take from past imformetion for today and tomoroow . i like to  learn the history of many countries . Among them  i specially like to learn about  my countrie history .Day by day history becomes new . my enthusiasm to study history keeps growing even more .Sri kankan history is very diffrent.
